@nixonsimon.bsky.social Take a look at this: bsky.app/profile/atru...
Obvious stuff. You may ask how is this relevant to Brexit. I will tell you my opinion.

Someone commented that: "They know. They just don't care."
HASSAN: What is habeas corpus?

NOEM: Habeas corpus is a constitutional right that the president has to be able to remove people from this country

HASSAN: That's incorrect

@nixonsimon.bsky.social Regarding this point of yours: "Amazing to think the Tories would campaign to make it harder to export cheese to Europe again" one should be honest to admit that with all the negative things that Brexit has brought to the light, there are positives as well. And this short

The obvious point here is that there is no one solution/blueprint for all. There are things like history, culture, terrain, demographics to consider. Technology helps but the answer( if there is one answer to be found) is that there will need to be a combination of all available transport systems.
I would so much want this to be clickable to identify different cities.
This is interesting — a recent study of mode share (the % share of transportation trips by car, transit, walking, biking etc) relative to city size and income levels in almost 800 cities in 61 countries. Interesting results. HT @davidzipper.bsky.social

One must never underestimate the level of stupidity that exists in the corridors of power. Most of the time people find themselves into situations which they have not thought off properly. In this case the damage done may be intentional, or may have other intentions than the purely economic ones.
