Really can't explain how good and important this book is. While I've taught university ethics and other philosophy courses I often haven't been a fan of a lot of analytic stuff. But this book put to words thoughts and feelings I've had for most of my adult life, and it's very readable. #ethics

Three out of five men in this shot have been accused of sexual misconduct, harassment or abusive behaviour towards women. A fourth signed into law a near-total abortion ban in his state as governor.

Javier just jacked $4b from his fans.
Anarcho-capitalists have some pretty gullible victims...Why abolish the Fed for corruption when you got anarcho-memecoin scammers?

How many billions will Trump screw his fans out of?

I just think it's remarkable that America was known in the 1700s for being a volunteer society that didn't require a strong state, and by 2002, being American meant being the strongest, most threatening state in the world - and had to keep this status forever.

When workers earn a living wage, they can lead a life free from constant struggle. The increase in purchasing power boosts business revenues, enabling companies to expand and hire more people to participate in the economy. This creates a positive cycle of growth that raises living standards for all.

Haven't you heard? The Supreme Court ruled in July 2024 that the President is King. He can do whatever he wants. There is no law - certainly not the constitution- that can bind the president. And there has never been any legal mechanism in US law to remove the President.
