@warriorgriffyn.bsky.social telling her story about (barely) surviving parvo.
Parvo was the worst. I had to spend 9 nights and 9.5 days away from my Mom, my toys, and most importantly chasing leaves and whining at everyone to come play with me.

My tummy took furever and furever to be good. But I got there.

I'm going to tell you my story (me now👇)
With all the news with AB and its decision to end free covid vaccines for all and having to order your vaccine for next year (deadline passed), it fell under the radar that Quebec also dropped its free covid vaccine.

Why? Like spending more on hospitalizations? www.ctvnews.ca/montreal/art...
Quebec ends free COVID-19 shots for most residents
Quebec residents can now book their COVID-19 vaccinations — but unless you’re a health-care worker or part of a high-risk group, you’ll have to pay for the shot.

The second richest man on earth is about to acquire TikTok and his family could soon own both Paramount and Warner Bros.

The third richest man owns Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

The fourth richest man owns The Washington Post.

See the problem here?

I bought a new bed for Griffyn since Violet (the new puppy) seconded her old one.

Got home. Put it out for Griffyn. Both fought over it.

So back to the store to buy a second one so they can each have their own 🙄

Both happy having their own.

Me: racist much?

The guy: I can’t be racist. I’m not white.

Western media has had a blackout on both Congo & Sudan, & people there have had less access to social media, this is the primary reason why genocides there have not been discussed by Westerners.

Apparently some folks are playing real dumb about skull symbols so let’s play a little game I like to call “Nazi skull or not a Nazi skull”

First up, the Jolly Roger. This is a pirate skull, not a Nazi skull. It means you might get robbed, but prolly not genocided.

🚨 This is inexplicable news to share. If in Alberta and you want flu and covid shots for NEXT year (2026-2027), you have only until December 15 of THIS year to order them.

This is not incompetence. It’s a deliberate choice to prevent as many people ..

What’s significant about this is it isn’t even like people snapped over the preventable mass deaths, the lingering discontent seems to be centered on the inconvenience. And it wasn’t even that long term. We’re not talking about Great Depression or WWII levels of mass sacrifice here.
One element of this that is interesting is the idea that, essentially, COVID broke us and in many ways we’ve never recovered as societies.

Not the only factor. But accelerant to the rest.
