We did a new trail today and did a nice 4-mile hike. Not too many pictures but I did see some cool stuff! Lots of dogs and lots of deer!

So next year I reeeeeeeeally want to make a magpie inspired renfaire outfit. I’m going to have to do some research and see how others have done similar. I’m not talking fursuit or anything (sorry y’all, I’m not a furry!) but more of garb with the color and that iridescent flair.

It rained yesterday so the animals were still hiding, but the lichen sure didn’t care! Did see a huge swarm of magpies at the grocery store and then hit up REI for some new socks and a sun hat!

Went on our usual hiking route today but ended up getting a little lost, which was fine after a mile of uphill battles. Got some new hiking boots and Nick got a hydration pack!
