In computing, year 2 had fun learning about how to take a good photograph. They explored the language ‘portrait’ and ‘landscape’ so we could choose the best way for our picture. They also learned about making sure they got everything in the image as well as getting it nice and clear.

It has been lovely to welcome Year 4 children from Tenacres, Matchborough and Arrow Valley first schools for a Team Ipsley Experience this week. They enjoyed visiting the Art room, the Science Lab and Year 5 to find out what life is like in a middle school.

Year 4 have had a wonderful day learning all about The Anglo-Saxons and Vikings at Tamworth Castle. They took part in a range of workshops. The children had great fun and the castle staff and members of the public commented on their excellent behaviour and their wonderful manners.

Nursery have had a very busy week!

In their final Art lesson of the unit this week Year 4 created large scale pictures of specific details from logs. They worked with a variety of media such as , wax crayon and pastels. Finally they washed their work with watercolours. We are soooo proud of their work. Well done Year 4.
