Of the Game Awards controversies right now this one is the most frustrating.
When I attended via Future Class, I was seated next to an award-winning game dev. We were both on our phones. During a break a director came up to him, got in his ear, and said "seat fillers shouldn't be on their phones".

Devs were only allowed a few (I believe two) tickets per nomination before Geoff charged them. Resale tickets were in the hundreds. And we all know what happened to Future Class (if you don’t, read my piece).

Survived the most chaotic trial, people regularly on the floor, ate a tankbuster at one point as RDM, wiped to an attack that needed tank LB3. Second attempt was just as chaotic and the tank LB happened early but it managed to keep 2 dps alive, one of which was a SMN. We managed to recover and clear

After publishing this article, I've heard from many that CR seems to be using AI to produce dub CCs. Now, thanks to a slip-up CR had with episode 6 dub of The Banished Court Magician, we can say that with 100% certainty: Crunchyroll is using the AI service Ollang.com for its dub closed captions!

We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.
