NEW: There’s a disaster unfolding in Alaska right now. And no major network is covering it.

The remnants of Typhoon Halong battered western Alaska overnight. Homes, with people in them, have literally been swept into the Bering Strait.

At least 20 are missing. No comment from any federal agency.

Ooooh, new euphemism just dropped.

“Less hindered by the laws.”

I mean, “illegal” is right there: shorter and more to the point. But ok.

“Your honor, my client was just less hindered by the law when he demanded the victim’s wallet at gunpoint. That’s not a ‘crime,’ is it?”

When you use AI, consider this: the massive energy demands of AI data centers are driving up electricity costs. As well known, the use of water for cooling is also huge.

The costs are socialized, the revenues go to the companies.
