The Trump administration has deported a 2-year old U.S. citizen to one of the most violent countries in the world.

Why does the House Republican majority continue to enable this disgusting, unchristian-like behavior?

These people are unfit to govern.

From my State Librarian: "[we] received a notice [yesterday] from IMLS for a partial 2025 Grants to States award" My dept thinks they will get the full amount allotted to them for 2025.

Did all the states got these notices, or just the 20 which sued?

How much longer will we let the confederates destroy our Union?

NEW: ALA is going to court to stop the President’s attempts to illegally dismantle the Institute of Museum & Library Services.

The President does not have the authority to destroy a federal agency. That's why we're taking action with our co-plaintiff @afscme.bsky.social. #ForOurLibraries (1/3)

I think this is a brilliant framing of this issue. If the government can send people to a third world country to a lifetime of involuntary servitude, that is slavery. Query whether this meets the “jurisdiction” requirement of the 13th Amendment (the officials sending them are!)
Trump told America he had a deal with far-right El Salvadoran dictator Nayib Bukele to temporary hold U.S. deportees for a fee.

Now we know that was a lie.

Trump told Bukele he'd _sell_ him bodies to _own_—to be housed in his massive prison (CECOT) until death.

America is back in the slave trade.

Am I the only person out here wondering about the odd Dem polling? Yes, Dem leadership is hated right now, but that is because people want MORE fight from them, not less. Right? The way it’s being reported makes it sound like disagreement with Dem positions. The reporting sounds wrong to me.
