They stare off into nowhere, looking shocked in a dissociative manner. Gordon, facing away from the canvas, rests his left arm on Benrey's back and reaches over Benrey's left arm, holding them closer around the waist, overall holding Benrey in a comforting manner. Benrey returns the embrace in a much more tense way, both arms going under Gordon's to hold his back tightly, slight scratch marks visible from his nails. Above them are the words "im sick of meaning" in orange whereas below them is written "i just wanna hold you" in blue . The work overall is heavily layered with various brushy textures and glowy effects, looking very chaotic. In contrast, the palette is heavily limited to values of orange and blue: Gordon and his crowbar entirely in orange with Benrey and his helmet in blue. Both have highlights in light values of their colors (yellow and cyan) across their forms as well. However, where the two meet a slight purple value is visible

In contrast, starting much higher up and ending around the start of the previous text is written chromakopia, ending by his left shoulder. It is rendered in a realistic manner.
