KEEP CALLING. PEEL OFF ALL DEM SENATORS YOU CAN.

☎️: (202) 224-3121

Tell them to vote NO on Cloture and NO on CR. Vote is pushed to after 1:15ish for now. Situation is fluid.

The only public YES votes are Schumer and Fetterman. They need 7-8 total. KEEP CALLING.

Call retiring Senators too!

There's a #LunarEclipse tonight! If you're in the dark region here, and if you have a view of the Moon at the right time, you'll see the eclipse. Check www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/luna... for more info and timings for the eclipse in your location. (Here on the East Coast, totality peaks around 3am.)

Will you join me in sending love notes to the remaining employees at NOAA labs & offices around the country?

Instructions & ~200 addresses here: docs.google.com/spreadsheets...

I'm starting to send mine today.

🚨 Everyone needs to call their Dem Senator right now. They are starting to cave.

Tell them:
1. Vote NO on Cloture
AND
2. Vote NO on the Republican spending bill.

Don’t let them pivot to reconciliation. GOP doesn’t need Dem votes on that and they know it.

TODAY is the showdown.

Done with scrolling. I can only see so many images of Zelensky’s face after Bucha. I’m going to go enjoy not buying anything and crocheting myself a handkerchief to cry in. Tomorrow there will still be wars to be angry at.

If you let an electron touch a positron (anti-matter version of electron) they'll both annihilate into gamma rays but if you are VERY careful and let them get close but NOT touch then they can form a bound state called positronium that acts kinda like a hydrogen atom for a few hundred nanoseconds 💫

We've agreed to avoid shopping today. Instead we could spend some time among trees. Perhaps we can use today to begin a long-term movement against our consumer culture. It would be beginning for the Earth and for our souls. What are you doing today?

One of the people fired from NOAA today is the director of the Ocean Acidification Program. That program also leads the U.S. government's effort on marine carbon dioxide removal (mCDR). The destruction of American science is incomprehensible.
