It's not terrifying if you've known more than, say, 3 veterans, or a police officer, or worked in an ED. Or been abused. Most people, I do believe, are decent and compassionate but that's not at odds with the fact that many are also capable of things you may not be able to imagine.

It's not terrifying if you've known more than, say, 3 veterans, or a police officer, or worked in an ED. Or been abused. Most people, I do believe, are decent and compassionate but that's not at odds with the fact that many are also capable of things you may not be able to imagine.

UPDATE: The Senate votes 53-47 to shoot down the Baldwin amendment to extend ACA funds for 1 year. A party-line vote with every Republican rejecting it.
An important vote in this series: Tammy Baldwin’s proposal to extend ACA expiring funds for 1 year. It’s structured as a motion to table (i.e. scrap it from the amendment tree). But it’ll show the appetite (or lack thereof) in the Senate to address this issue.

I don’t have a whole lot of advice for people younger than me but the earlier in life you stop worrying about what other people will think and just wholeheartedly enjoy the stuff you like the happier you’ll be
