Reform, The Tories and the Right Wing press are all scathing of Starmers deal with the EU. Not because it’s a bad deal, but because they are scared to death it might work and bring benefits to the country. #starmer #uk-eu #fbpe
In 45 years the ECHR has ruled that the UK violated immigration rules just THREE times in 45 years.

So why are they really trying to get us to leave?

Clearly nothing to do with immigration.

Just imagine how many protestors will be on the streets when they realise they’ve been conned by Farage.

Now that Farage has been called out for tax avoidance will he demonstrate he has as much integrity as Angela Rayner and resign? Of course not, he’ll prove once and for all what a grifter he is.

The majority of Labour voters were anti Brexit.

If the same rebels who oppose the Welfare reforms demanded an EU return and made it a potential leadership issue, Labour could take us back into EU, sort out growth and bring back the feel good factor.

They will need to act quickly tho.

So the white crosses on that road in South Africa were not graves. POTUS goes and worldwide tv and makes a fool of himself. No wonder the US is a losing the respect of the world.

Instead of copying Reform, Starmer should have said “we have given it 12 months, it’s clear that the damage inflicted on this country by Brexit means we can’t achieve growth targets so we are reversing it”. Would attract votes from all remainers and lose no votes. Instead , he’s lost millions.
May 13, 2025 at 7:43 AM
I had high hopes for Starmer but am rapidly losing faith in him. I didn’t vote for Tory Mk2 or Reform but got it. He could redeem himself by getting us back into in the EU, but with new leadership, the Tories might beat them to it when they finally realise they’ve lost the right wing to Reform.

People are fed up with Labour and the Tories. Instead of moving towards Greens or LibDems they are apparently migrating to Reform. A rich man’s party with no fully costed legal policies and with a history of misinformation. Reform is NOT the answer.

If anyone is, Trump is the one gambling on WW3. Putin wants to destabilize NATO, Trump is not bright enough to realise it and walks straight into the trap. European politicians falling over themselves to appease and flatter Trump much like they did in Germany in 1939. Dangerous times indeed
March 1, 2025 at 8:06 AM
Trump: “We need to end this war but you’ll need to give the land back.”

Putin: “Why should I give back land? They started it. I’m not giving any land back to that second rate comedian dictator, who only has a 4% rating. And you can forget about them joining NATO”

Trump: “OK.”

Negotiations end.

A thread. 1. Labour should be judged at the end of this Parliament, not before. If they haven’t delivered, and we don’t feel better off, they will be toast - but they must be given time. One or two unpopular policies does not mean they won’t be successful overall in the long term.
