We’re surely running a risk of Frank’s last game being against Brentford next weekend? Can’t see us doing anything up at Newcastle.

This has been worse than Nuno for me, the right manager change there is still plenty to play for.

Genuinely rarely a better night in my life

Forest are having their Leicester season.

Basically every player having the season of their lives, minimal injuries, tactics that don’t rely on outplaying just winning the moments.

They’ll be back to mediocrity next season, feel fairly certain of that.

Plus, they’re an advert for breaking FFP.

Hard to know too much due to game state but for one of best defences in league we sure did created plenty.

Just feel we need our next ‘guy’ to arrive who can open those games up.

Ala Bale / Kane / Prime Son etc. not sure we’ve currently got them.

Happy for Richi and funny to watch 9000 crosses.

Starting to look into potential squad ins and outs this summer.

Are there any hot takes either on individuals or playing groups (GKs / Def / Mid / Att)?

A handful of my outs from first glance;
- I’d sell Romero.
- I’d loan out Gray.
- I’d sign and loan out Tel.
- I’d sell Maddison.

If we play like last night for 80% of the remaining games with results to go with it, I’d feel good heading into next year with Ange.

Last night was what I was wanting to see again, territorially dominant with true threat and exciting play.

All the talk has been about the pressure on Ange. Which players are under most pressure though? This is as on them as anyone.

Son - for his legacy?
Madders - to prove he’s worth a leadership role for coming years?
Solanke - needs a statement game for his year?

Anyone else?

@tehtrunk.bsky.social you’ve mentioned a few times, not bashing, that you’ve been reading a book that goes over how Liverpool won the league . I keep meaning to order, what’s it actually called?
April 8, 2025 at 6:32 PM
We don’t get many these days so just enjoy a victory.

Second half we clearly took foot off gas which was disappointing and boring to watch but job done.

Now onto the serious stuff 😬
April 6, 2025 at 3:10 PM
I don’t have any overly negative Spurs posts on my feed but all it is atm is bemoaning and whining of said negative fans.

Just adds to the doom spiral.

Last night was a disappointing attacking performance, Ange clearly not going anywhere immediately, let’s get a much needed win Sunday!

Ange definitely read the Iraola piece in the Athletic, he had no time for Jay in the presser.

It’s back to the wall time. Feel in the minority that can’t wait for us to be back. Watching the team play is my favourite thing, not all the other discourse.
April 2, 2025 at 6:46 PM
Okay Spurs, you can come back now. ⌛️
March 30, 2025 at 8:06 AM
Fleeting thought on Ange and the manager situation.

Do any of Ireola, Frank, Silva or similar raise either our floor or are ceiling than under Ange?

An International Break question;

When Ange signed, what were your honest projections for the 3-year ‘project’?

What a set of International games tomorrow night;

Croatia v France
Denmark v Portugal
Italy v Germany
Netherlands v Spain

#NationsLeague delivering a QF round a lot of major tourneys would love.

Disappointing result today.

Second half we improved but once Romero went off we forgot how to pass again.

A few worrying performances but thought Tel showed something, Bergy and Son mostly good off the bench & Gray tidy when at DM.

Feel I need this Int break, come back energised for the run in.

Surprised to see some downcast takes on last night. I thought that was a really good performance with the starting 11.

Defensively gave them absolutely nothing. Took a while to grow into the game in an attacking sense but that came & final goal was best passage of football in months.

Days like today are why I love Spurs so much, have a genuine tingle all day and the anticipation creates such nervous energy.

Regardless of big picture debates, every Spurs fan is praying for a win tonight and I love being part of it!

Can’t wait #COYS

Past 3 games have definitely given me the wobbles on Ange

The majority of players aren’t playing well enough for very reasonable reasons. An upturn in performances is almost guaranteed but the signs of frustrations from the players with the system are cause of concern.

Bring on Thurs #COYS

Good 2nd half. Danso really impressing me, Gray great on the ball, Bergy another confident performance. Really enjoyed a lot of what Odobert brought, will have to work on giving that overlapping pass amongst his take ons.

One CB back for Europa would be nice but Big Dom’s the missing piece. #COYS

First time at #Anfield anyone know the away pub?
February 6, 2025 at 5:53 PM
Just finished watching, not embarrassing but don’t think we played very well. Solid but didn’t do enough with the ball.

We can’t keep going every game with Gray, Bergval and Spence being clearly our best performers.

We’ve got to go on a winning streak now in the league 🤞🏻

I see so much about how we’ve failed with our squad building.

So I’ve just pulled together some lists so we can see our squad compared to a selection of other teams as think sometimes people compare us to an imaginary perfect squad.

I’m not a designer so excuse the basic formatting.

This right here might be the best article I’ve read on football, maybe ever. Thank you @cyberistia.bsky.social for sharing on that other place.

This sums up so perfectly why I love the game and why I’m fully behind Ange. This is what it’s always been about, for me. #COYS

Ange Postecoglou sack? His Spurs is the BEST PL team since 90s
Football is supposed to be fun and Ange Postecoglou's Spurs are damned fine fun. Don't listen when they say it's a results game.
