fundamental problem with iwtv is that while both rice and i agree that lestat is Compelling, she thinks he's genuinely cool and i think he deserves to be ground up into a paste and served on toast

s1 of buffy really cares about visuals and good direction but it does not have the room for a real overarcing plot. im on s4 now and we've really fucking abandoned "lighting" and "being visually clear" for having a season long thesis. i do not know which i prefer.
