Okay, so I got in my car after yoga to Tribe Called Quest's "I Left My Wallet in El Segundo" and just parked at home as Dee-Lite's "Groove Is in the Heart."

Anyway. I hope you all have as Q-tip-iful a day as I am having.

Thanks, #WXPN #ThroughTheYears! 1990 is a pretty good one!

I'm just drunk enough to be really* sad that I am not just walking around in a robe writing and creating art and music. I feel like if I'd been born a Coppola, things would have been different.

*not that sad, really.

How we beat back the corporate takeover of America:

1. Break up corporate monopolies

2. Continue building union power

3. End Citizens United and get big money out of politics

Let’s keep working to unrig the system.

Anne Frank & Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. were born in 1929. Viola Fletcher, who just died this week, was already 15 when they were born.

But while we were just with Ms. Fletcher days ago, Anne Frank & Dr King are portrayed as ancient history.

Remember, "The past is never dead. It's not even past.”

I watched Frankenstein last night--too late to have been surprised by Mia Goth's incredible costumes (which I'd seen images of). But not too late to celebrate Jacob Elordi's gentle, jaggedy, stretchy ranginess. I have other opinions, but whoo.

The various algorithms seem to think i have ADHD, which -- who knows? But I am also continually surprised when brain fog, exhaustion, and an inability to focus/finish tasks are listed in perimenopause symptoms! Also, three weeks before break and I should be doing a hundred other things... so.
