Spent some more time modelling Pow-Pow. Tried sculpting some details into the handle, not 100% happy with the outcome, but for my real first attempt at sculpting I don't think it's completely terrible.

Modeled the handle and rail today, definitely been the hardest parts to get 'right' so far, fairly happy with the outcome nonetheless!

Will probably mess around with some more of the smaller details tomorrow, might try and make the vent thingy on the back.

Started working on Jinx's minigun, Pow-Pow, a day or two ago. Getting the proportions similar enough to the references I'm using has been a pain but I'm really happy with the progress so far!

Finished the jaw of Jinx's grenade, it was a bit of a struggle to get it feeling 'right', proud of how it turned out though.

I would love to try painting some styalised textures, it's something I've never done before so it'll definitely be a learning process.

Been a little while, told myself to stop putting things off and just start making shit. Put the octopus on hold for now and started modeling something from my favourite show, Arcane.

Decided to make one of Jinx's grenades, not done yet, but happy with it so far.

Spent today messing around with the materials and lighting, really happy with how most of it turned out and learnt a lot about nodes and how they work.

Will probably finish some modelling that I still want to do tomorrow, might mess around with some animation as well.

Finished up most of the modeling and posing today, started messing around with some of the materials and lighting as well.

Always love it when you can see everything start to come together, will hopefully get close to finishing this project tomorrow!

Been a little while, finally clawed some motivation back and modeled some more of the finer details, specifically the spots and valve looking objects all along the body.

Really like how from a distance it looks fairly organic, but up close it's obviously more mechanical.

Remodeled the 'head' and eyes today to fit better with the tentacles, also started working on some of the finer details.

Really liking to dichotomy between the mechanical and organic pieces, will definitely try and incorporate more of and balance both.

Got the armature working with IK, really happy with how it looks, a lot of fun to play around with. Started working on the head as well, looks a bit goofy at the moment but I'm excited to continue working on it tomorrow!

Found a neat little tutorial on Youtube for modelling a Sci-Fi octopus, its got lots of really cool tips and tricks throughout, have already learned a lot.

Looking forward to messing around with the armatures tomorrow, should be able to get the 'tentacles' working!

Only spent a short time working in Blender today, threw together a simple material for the needle and animated it hovering behind Hornet. Haven't worked with animation in Blender before so that was a lot of fun.

I'll render it as a video overnight and post it tomorrow!

Remodeled both the head and cloak today, a lot happier with both of them, even if the topology probably still sucks. Played around with some wind as well, definitely makes the scene feel more alive.

Will probably finish the needle tomorrow, might try animating it as well.

Spent some time today modelling Hornet from Hollow Knight.

Struggled with her head and eyes as I've not worked with subdivision surfaces or booleans that much before, will probably spend tomorrow redoing it with what I've learned today.
