today, Chris Mason was on Five Live saying that he was paid to "Make judgement calls" about issues like Reeves and the OBR (i.e. interpret and spin the facts)

I would say "no mate! You are paid to report the facts of the matter, impartially, Not trying and frame/package them or pick a side"

Even at the time, Johnson’s wild weekend in Umbria felt somewhat suspicious. With this new information, you can understand why some are now calling it outright treasonous

Rightly lots of debates about growth this weekend - rightly because it was low productivity growth that saw wages entirely flatline during the 2010s.

Like a home, if you don’t invest for a year or two you can get away with it. Don’t do it for decades and the roof risks falling in ie you’ve undermined growth

I’m very pleased that Jonathan Gullis has joined Reform – we need more conviction politicians with strongly held principles. In other news, here he is explaining why there is absolutely no chance he would ever defect to Reform.

All of us: Why, in our judgement, Chris Mason is misleading on most political points, all the time.

Because he’s incapable of political commentary that isn’t marinated in his own rightwing bias. Allegations for Labour. Free passes for Tories/Reform. Every Single Time.

If Nigel Farage wanted to investigate Russian infiltration into Reform, he’d have done it already.

It’s time the Prime Minister launched a national investigation.

Most benefits go to people IN WORK.

Because…

THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH PROPERLY PAID JOBS,

Rather than insisting employers pay decent wages, governments use taxpayers’ money to subsidise employers who don’t.

Welfare was not meant to support employers.

This is completely wrong.
Kevin Maguire is right, 60% of kids in poverty are in households where at least one parent works.

They didn’t like the market’s calm reaction on budget day, they didn’t like that they were not given exclusive leaks on the budget, they didn’t like that income tax was not raised directly. So they concoct a story and push it relentlessly. It’s a bitter vengeful made up story.

Watched BBC 6 o clock news. Just a completely unserious broadcast. Chris Mason, acting like a children's entertainer, giving a prolonged impenetrable editorial. Not a whiff of informative content about the Budget or what it means for the country. Just playschool blah blah bollocks.

We can't let Trump get away with extortion like this, Parliament must be given a chance to vote this deal down.

Also, can we get on with investigating Reform members' association with Russia?

The absolute state of the BBC news just now - which seems determined to drag the government down over the budget.

Where was all this attention to minute detail and concern for absolute accuracy when the Tories were lying their way through their chaotic reign for 14 years? It's frankly absurd.
