Marco's talk at RailsWorld 2025 was incredible. I am very honored to have him as the second speaker at rubycon. He is the perfect match for the high quality, deep, technical ruby conference I have in mind for next year! Thank you @marcoroth.dev for joining us!

Our first speaker at Rubycon is a well known Italian in the #rubyonrails community! 🎉

We didn’t choose #Rimini just because the #Rubicon River flows nearby. Rimini is a modern and beautiful city, with a millennia-old history, excellent food, and many important economic activities.

I wrote about what I call "live tests". An example on how we run automated tests on the *live* environment after deployment in Ruby on Rails.
This can be particularly useful in some contexts. Enjoy!

Live tests in Ruby on Rails
Did you know you can execute live tests on your Rails apps? In this blog post I will explore the available tools and the small changes we need to introduce live tests in our flow.

I wrote a couple of words on how to handle missing frames in Turbo. You might find it interesting as well 🙌 coorasse.com/blog/handlin... #rubyonrails #turbo

I think turbo will slowly become obsolete and the main features will be implemented directly by the browsers. 🤞

Why is September always like that? 😭
I'd like to attend all of them, but I'd find the home door locked when I come back 🤣

There's nothing that replaces a good night at the cinema. You can have the best TV setup at home, but it will never be the same. A nice, small cinema in the city center, so you can admire and enjoy the beauty of an old town as well.

Is there a software I can send my logs to, where I can do two things: stream and search?
I feel a lot of software does much much more than that

After more than 10 years, I am now 100% off @heroku.com with my personal projects. I have been a very happy customer, but their pricing is not fair anymore.
I now have all my personal projects on a single Hetzner server and Dokku.

This social network is not too bad. The android app is very clean and snappy. Also, the fact that there are no bad quality ads makes it quite enjoyable

At Renuo, we are hiring at least one #rubyonrails Software Engineer. It's an on-site position, so you need to be in Switzerland (which is not too bad, trust me 😜)

📬Would you like to log emails in your #rubyonrails app? I just released Letter Thief.
It logs sent emails in your database and can also open them in development.
If you used letter_opener you should be familiar with it. Enjoy! 😁
