Here we are with higher taxes and prices for EVERYTHING and the “opposition” just wants us to keep rewarding them for caving. Not a fucking PEEP about actual resistance

This is the #1 source of my desire to leave and renounce citizenship. There is no organized opposition to fascism in this country. A lot of people think they’re opposing it by voting for Democrats, but they absolutely are not. There is no hope as long as this is the case.

The government is arguing in court (again) that it should be allowed to starve citizens, as it continues to terrorize its own cities with violence. This is not a “wait until we can vote again” situation. If they feel threatened by that, they can and will take it away.

As a national org, the Dem Party is abysmal. I do not give them credit for “flipping” anything this week. A few individual candidates definitely offered viable alternatives to fascism, but that was DESPITE the desire of the National Dem Party to win simply by not having “R” next to their name.

Our fucking twat president already got my FIL killed during COVID and now I’m staring at flights to see my mother, who is terminally ill, for Thanksgiving while ATCs and other essential staff aren’t getting paid and airspace could be closed at any moment thanks again to said twat.

Last night was proof that they can’t win elections anymore. In fact, they could lose the next one so bad that they will face serious prison time. They will try to cancel it and they will use violence to do it.

Don’t ever forget the cowardice of establishment Dems in the run-up to this. They did everything they could to undermine the will of the people and prevent what we just saw. They will do it again if given a chance.

I wish I could share everyone’s optimism today. Celebrate, but there is hard work to make this the turning point you hope it will be. We still haven’t seen how brutal they are willing to get, but we are also stronger than they (or we) thought. Victory will still require more than voting.
