A front line health care worker in a collapsed health care system in Alberta, Canada.
The Caritas Hospitals are already extremely short staffed and limiting the number of patients they can admit. And why would the Gov only support Caritas Hospitals? #abhealth

Nearly every medicine we benefit from started with NIH-funded research. Early discovery work starts in academia.

Immunotherapies?
Gene therapy for rare diseases?
Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s medicines?
Vaccines?
Novel cancer treatments?
Psychiatric medicines?

You betcha.

FIRST PERSON | As a rural ER doctor, I feel guilty cutting back my hours. But it's the only way for me to keep working | CBC News
Dr. Sarah Giles wants you to know she's sorry that patients are suffering because of staffing shortages in health care. But she's learned that working longer hours won't solve the problem. In fact, it could have led her to leave the profession altogether.
