A benign tumor doesn't mean symptoms aren't there anymore, unfortunately. First, flare-up in over a week hit me today. I managed to get a bit of writing done but the double vision is really messing me up.

I absolutely refuse to give in to the horrible things that have happened to me in this life. I will write books. I will make cakes. I will laugh and make jokes, and I will spend everyday reminding people how much I love them.

Welp, I go back in July for 2 more MRIs and a lumbar puncture. Fortunately, all signs indicate slow growth, so we are waiting to measure the speed and we'll determine the next steps after that. #braintumor

So this account was made with my pen name in mind because I was going to write a book. I haven't been doing a lot of writing. Last September, one of my kids got sick and almost died, and now that they have almost fully recovered, I just found out that I have a brain tumor, a low-grade glioma. (1)

Something that always gets me is when AI users claim they couldn't otherwise afford a cover. AI is relatively new and authors (including self-pub, indie authors) somehow managed to release their books prior to its existence. AI is nowhere close to the only option
