I'm now officially on tour with an IRL production for the next two weeks! As the image says, I'll most likely be back on Tuesday, December 16th, but I might take some extra rest days. If I do, I'll be back that Friday instead. Keep an eye out here or on Discord for the most up-to-date info!

The death of Flash basically killing an entire segment of independent and free game development overnight is one of those things that never really gets spoken about, which is a real shame because a lot of that first generation of Newgrounds talent did break into the animation and games industries.

I genuinely think kids in the mid-to-late aughts growing up on emulators (read: piracy) may genuinely have been far, far healthier for the future of the industry than all the kids growing up on stuff like Roblox being the norm.

When I was last working I ended up in the ER from overworking my body and decided it was best for me to stay home especially since my disabled child was already struggling so much with the caretaker he had at the time. I also have a trans child so we live in California where it's safest for her and my family in general as two of us are disabled. I'm working towards getting on disability at the moment as well as exploring options to be paid to be my son's caregiver as his behavior gets worse when I'm not the one caring for him. Reku, Sheela, and Toksan are dressed as child scouts trying to scale what looks to them to be a mountain, but that this writer suspects might actually just be a particularly tall hill. Reku is terrified that he's falling, saying "I don't want to be a mashed popoto!" while Toksan holds onto their friend's hand, attempting to pull him up. This hero wears a determined scowl and proclaims, "Don't worry about it." Meanwhile, Sheela stares into the distance to the peak they're aiming for, crying comically large tears and letting the others know that, "Y'all, there's so much left..." Hm...something seems off, though. Isn't there usually a fourth child on this splash image? Must've been judicious use of the stamp tool on the artist's part to erase it.
