A 27-year-old woman was just diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. By 2030, colorectal cancer is projected to be the leading cancer killer under 50. As providers, we play a vital role in encouraging early evaluation and trusting when something feels off. Encourage screenings! #getscreened

I’ve been seeing more patients lately with fissures that just won’t heal. It’s not always the tear—it’s the muscle spasm that keeps it open. These cases remind me how important it is to look beyond the surface when discomfort lingers. Thought I'd share!

It’s not just older patients anymore. I’m seeing more colorectal cancer in people in their 30s and 40s. Subtle symptoms, easy to miss. These aren’t isolated cases—there's been a shift. Early screening remains critical in prevention. We have to stay diligent to educate our patients.

✅ Sip warm lemon water in morning
✅ Add fiber-rich foods like kiwi, pears, oatmeal
✅ Go for a light walk right after meals
✅ Try peppermint tea or ginger root to calm digestion
