I think the “gang bangers” would like a seat on the couch in this conversation… 🤦🏾‍♀️
At around the 22-25 minute marks, Yarvin, JD Vance’s court philosopher, proposes a system where:

"black people would be made wards of religious ministers, who could force them to work as indentured servants & require them to submit to 24/7 “air-tag” monitoring."

It's amusing to observe Curtis Yarvin in this setting. He seems quite in love with the sound of his own voice. And most of his utterances are the sort of banalities you'd expect of a recent autodidact—wowed by the most superficial connections, and lacking deeper contextual knowledge.

An absolute must-read showing the lifelong impacts of these rampant firings, and with Black women as a target. Heart wrenching stories.
NEW: Since reentering office, Trump has made clear his feelings about diversity programs, referring to them as “Radical and Wasteful” in his executive order — an order that has derailed the careers of Black civil servants whose work was unrelated to DEI.

Dismissed by DEI: Trump’s Purge Made Black Women With Stable Federal Jobs an “Easy Target”
The president’s attack on diversity efforts has derailed the government careers of highly educated civil servants — even though the jobs some lost were not directly involved with any DEI programs.

Defend the liberty of a stranger as you would defend your own, or that of a loved one, because that is what's actually on the table—whether we are a society that will sit still as our neighbors are snatched in the night, and disappeared into darkness, or a society that will fight for each other.

Good point. Same thing happened to me when my mom passed last year. And it was quick, like days. Honestly shocking when you’re mourning the loss of a very much loved one.
All this business I am reading about social security is nonsense. My mom died on 2/18. My dad got a letter yesterday informing him her benefits were ending and he had to repay the February payment because they don’t give a payment in the month someone dies. They know where every dollar is.

The cause of homelessness is not simply, not having a home. It’s unaddressed trauma, untreated mental health struggles, and systemic barriers that keep people trapped. To truly end homelessness, we must go beyond shelter, we must heal, support, and empower people at the root of their struggles.

would love to hear about it from a variety of women because I'm starting to see how as a Black woman I haven't felt this as new or distinct, especially with the anti-Black backlash of the past few years.
We need to talk more about how it feels to be a woman amidst this sudden onslaught of “reclaiming masculinity,” celebrating male aggression and violence, and vanishing smart experienced women from positions of power.

Small businesses are absolutely the lifeblood of the US economy…
The Small Business Administration sent employees a letter saying that they had been fired.

Then it sent them an email saying that the email was a mistake.

Then it sent some of them another email saying actually they were fired

Don’t just say DEI as if it’s a bad word. Spell it out.

Say diversity, which is the lifeblood of American society & culture & innovation.

Say equity, which a just society should pursue.

Say inclusion, because decent people believe in increasing belonging, not isolating people who are different.

I want people to understand this.

For many of them, democracy ended when Obama was elected twice and Black Lives Matter rose to prominence.

This is them “fixing” a system that felt broken and newly unsafe to them.
What we all seemingly failed to understand is just how many of our "countrymen" were perfectly willing to resort to treason to end democracy. And all in service of a convicted felon and lifelong conman who wasn't even very good at it.
