Really impossible to overstate how completely this guy has failed at every aspect of being an opposition leader over the past six months. Jeffries is a truly inspiring example for every soulless careerist who would rather be king of nothing than stand for anything decent in the world.

If five years as an elected official preceded by five years of work in politics including being a literal campaign manager is defined as "lacking experience" then there is no possible floor that will satisfy anyone over the age of 45.
Ok here's a tepid take that nobody wants but it's the truth:
Mamdani is a smart, charismatic guy who seems to have his heart in the right place and lacks experience. Maybe he'll be a good mayor. Maybe he won't. There's never been a good NYC mayor in my lifetime. Seems like a tough job.

One bright spot for trans people in Montana: Today's SCOTUS decision does not touch Montana. That's because Montana overturned its gender affirming care ban through the state Supreme Court. States are allowed to have protections that go beyond the US constitution, and thus that ruling is unaffected.
