I just cast my ballot in the 2025 @liberalca.bsky.social Leadership race for the next leader of the Party and Prime Minister of Canada. The process was very easy and secure. Verifying my identify with the Canada Post Identity+ app was easy, as was securely casting my ballot on the party website.

Did you know indie bookstores sell a much higher proportion of Canadian authors than Indigo or American-owned Amazon? In fact, most Canadian indies have an option to filter by Canadian authors on their website. We currently have over 730 titles by Canadian authors in-store at The Spaniel's Tale.

Because Ford and every other premier have successfully blamed the federal government for these problems, with the willing assistance of the media who refuse to hold the premiers to account for the failings in their own jurisdictions.
One of the facts of society that I cannot comprehend is the level of support Doug Ford still has even though Emergency Rooms regularly close. I may have the wrong perception of the society I grew up in, but hospitals regularly denying access to care would've quickly sunk any other government. Right?
