Retention elections for supreme courts tend to be sleepy affairs, but that's changing. Last year, a justice lost for the first time in Oklahoma history, while progressive campaigns fell short in Arizona and Florida. This fall, eyes are on Pennsylvania.
Inside the Clunky Elections to Control Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court
The GOP is making an expensive push to end Democrats’ majority on a court at the center of election lawsuits, sparking a fledging campaign season with little precedent or template.

Not an exaggeration. If anything, this understates how unhinged the video is. It is, quite literally, five white guys talking about how to free the states from the burdens of the 14th Amendment so churches can effectively be given ownership over "gangbangers in Baltimore."
At around the 22-25 minute marks, Yarvin, JD Vance’s court philosopher, proposes a system where black people would be made wards of religious ministers, who could force them to work as indentured servants and require them to submit to 24/7 “air-tag” monitoring.
It's amusing to observe Curtis Yarvin in this setting. He seems quite in love with the sound of his own voice. And most of his utterances are the sort of banalities you'd expect of a recent autodidact—wowed by the most superficial connections, and lacking deeper contextual knowledge.

This is one of the absolute toughest things about predatory inclusion — the predation is often fun or a little useful. Criticism makes a reasonable person sound like an asshole. LowerEd weathered me for this kind of social death.

So I’ll say it: your enjoyment does not matter & should not matter.
I don't fundamentally disagree with a lot of this, especially the environmental cost/ benefit. I'll just offer that as a maker, tinkerer, experimenter, having access to a LLM has massively decreased the time required to design build and debug relatively sophisticated hw/sw prototypes.
