We broadcast the very 1st Spurs podcast way back in 2006! Still going strong right here. Love discussing. Hate arguing.
I think Levy would probably have sacked Frank this morning. Nuno got sacked a full month before this point in the season and it feels a very comparable situation.

So this is an interesting moment, as it’s really our first chance to see what’s changed.

Ok so there’s no obvious candidate to replace Frank, so look beyond the obvious. Managers like Glasner, Maresca, even Arteta were not obvious candidates taken from established PL managerial positions. We supposedly have this amazing scoring network so use it.

If Slot became available…

Oh no Xavi has the cursed haircut. Didn’t anyone tell him?
November 23, 2025 at 5:34 PM
I see we’re back to either entirely blaming the manager or completely absolving him of all responsibility.

I can accept Plan A was to simply stop them scoring, but there should have been a clear plan B for when they did. Nothing changed at all.

Sooooo was taking Xavi off actually really good management?

That was Defoe-esque.

European pace clearly suits Simons but still hugely encouraging. He just needs to adapt to the pace of the PL and play the ball quicker. Modric went through exactly the same thing. Should have three assists. Let’s keep the faith, he’s a player.

Our maintained league position is solely down to Vicario by the way.

My family has been going to Spurs for 100 years. My children are fourth generation fans. But I’m seriously considering stopping my season tickets. Prices keep going up, it takes up more and more of my time, and the reward is non-existent. There is no joy in it anymore. I honestly think I’m done.

It’s all very reminiscent of the Nuno era. Great start, great league position, but a pervasive sense that it’s just not right. And while I think Frank hasn’t been given a proper chance, I suspect it will end similarly.

Can we please give Simons a bit of patience and belief?
November 1, 2025 at 6:25 PM
I don’t think we were 3-0 good, but that’s an excellent tactical performance. Frank has yet to work out how to best set up at home, but these kind of games are clearly his sweet spot.

Incredible save. But can we please not?

Liverpool have done that Championship Manager thing of winning the league, getting all excited about how many players you can buy, and completely fucking up the team.
October 4, 2025 at 4:54 PM
Woof! That had some welly 😮‍💨
October 4, 2025 at 4:45 PM
That was definitely outside the box in the Arsenal game. Arsenal are getting those “we want them to win the league” calls this season ☹️

Good win. Grinding out results isn’t bad and the performance was better.

I want to see gradual improvement from here but no reason to suck the joy out of a win on the road

Jesus if as a Spurs fan you can’t be fully happy after a win, a decent enough performance and breaking an international break curse then what’s the bloody point? Honestly? It’s always the people bogged down in stats, such a weird way to enjoy football.

That’s a very good result, and honestly a very good performance overall.

Don’t see all white kits versus all black kits very often.
October 4, 2025 at 11:51 AM
Might be the least composed performance I’ve ever seen.

I’m not watching the game, but I concur with the entirety of Spurs Bluesky that that should have been a yellow card.
