This administration keeps winking at Nazis. Now Hegseth's "Secretary of War" placard is misspelled with a suspicious extra 'S,' echoing the SS. This isn't a mistake; it's a pattern of normalizing hate.
‘Is this real?’ Pete Hegseth accused of open ‘wink at Nazis’ during cabinet meeting
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was dragged Tuesday over appearing at a cabinet meeting with a misspelled name placard, a misspelling that some critics alleged to be an intentional “wink at Nazis.”Hegseth was seated next to President Donald Trump during Tuesday’s cabinet meeting in the White House, a...

A retired colonel bluntly states Trump is ultimately responsible for potential war crimes in the Caribbean. This failed attempt to scapegoat an admiral can't hide the chain of command; the illegal "double tap" strike flows directly from this lawless administration.

Who needs Sec of State or any US official actually confirmed by the United States Senate to do official state business on behalf of the United States?

Just let the President's cronies and family members with potential financial interests tied to foreign entities do it.

It's great that reporting on the double tap has spotlighted the abject criminality of this Administration.

But don't forget: Venezuela is not waging war on America or Americans, and the men killed were not combatants.

The first strike was every bit as illegal as the second.

We can’t adopt their framing.

These are illegal strikes on civilian boats.

They have not given them due process or presented any proof they were “narcoterrorists”.

It’s not acceptable to execute survivors, but it’s worse to drone strike civilian boats.

Period.
The precise contours of the administration’s defense of Trump and Hegseth are still emerging, but it appears to ride on a fine distinction between the general order Hegseth gave for the attack and the specific order Adm. Mitch Bradley gave for the 2nd strike.
