The risk of developing stomach cancer increases as we get older.
It's more common in men than in women.
Early symptoms can look like other common stomach problems such as a virus or stomach ulcer.
Contact your GP practice if you have these symptoms for 3 weeks or more.

Did you know since lung checks began in Cheshire and Merseyside a few years ago, they have found more than 700 cancers, most at an early stage?
They have rolled out in Liverpool, Halton, south Sefton, Warrington, St Helens and Wirral – and will be coming to #Southport and #Formby in the new year.

This International Men’s Day, did you know that 1 in 17 men in UK will be diagnosed with bowel cancer in their lifetime?
But the earlier bowel cancer is spotted, the more treatable it's likely to be.
So please do your NHS bowel screening poo test if you get one in the post!

We had a great turnout for CMCA’s Workforce and Education Programme Engagement Day last week.
Cancer care colleagues from across the region came to our all-day event to hear a range of speakers and discuss how learning can boost how our teams perform and so improve outcomes for patients.

Great to see Two Pints actors Ralf Little and Will Mellor with the awards for our cancer screening campaign they helped with.
They championed CMCA's Two Minutes of Chat and an Early Screening campaign that won Prolific North Marketing Awards for best health campaign and best not-for-profit campaign.
