Recently had a spirited debate in a group chat where one of the youngins said they didn't like bidets because it made their ass wet. 1) You're using it wrong if that's the result. 2) Are we talking Europe or Arab-style? Because after many years abroad I will never live in a house without 1 of these.

I find utopian science fiction (which, despite the conflicts in Star Trek I’d still say is more utopian than not) to be way more fascinating than dystopian.
It can be easy to whip up stories of a bad future. It takes real imagination & effort to imagine how an advanced ethical society could succeed
