Canter’s Deli is a place I’ve been going to since I was old enough to read the kids menu. It was the first place I ever ordered potato latkes from when I was 8 and when I was 14 I would walk there from my mom’s divorce apartment at park la brea and take advantage of the cigarette machine.

There was a bad driver we were stuck behind while heading up Fairfax. They didn’t care about anyone else on the road. When we switched lanes to get a look at this deviant driver my jaw dropped to the floor of my seat. It’s was the spitting image of Mike Love.

Always amazed at the gross shit I find in my dad’s refrigerator. I wait until he goes to sleep to throw most of it out so he doesn’t get food poisoning.

Wouldn’t it be interesting to be able to have a device that could tell you who actually opened and played the records of your own you sold to fans? That way you’d know who the real ones are.

My mom asked if I would watch Donnie Darko with her. I asked why. She said she is obsessed with the song Mad World but doesn’t know how it ties in with the movie. She said she didn’t remember Pacino or Depp’s characters relating to that song. That’s when I realized she was thinking of Donnie Brasco.

I wish there was a Universal Studios type theme park but the theme genre was only 1990’s documentaries like Hands on A Hard Body and such.

Today at a work meeting with my new supervisor and all of my coworkers I outed out my work bully because I have no fear anymore. It felt good. And my new supervisor offered me a better job under him if I want it because he liked the way I stood up for myself.

The Remains of the Day. Hopkins plays a repressed butler and Peter Vaughan plays his father who is also a butler. This is one of those films you’d be lucky to see for the first time now. I’m so glad I did!
