One of the many projects for #napomo25 at the Student Writing and Reading Center is Rengathon. I’m priming the pump with haikus from poets and have demonstrated the two line response on one so far. The display will be up in our centers at Redwood and South Campuses starting April 1, 2025.

As I enter the final years of my career, I, along with excellent colleagues, am going to spend it on writing center labor issues and the further professionalization of our field. While five to seven years will not be enough time, especially in times like these, working together we can effect change.
