Researcher, sedentary behaviour and physical activity patterns of workers, wellbeing and work outcomes, psychosocial barriers to intervention participation, recovery and return to work post injury. Qualitative and quantitative methods.
It was great to be involved in this study! Good to know which strategies might be more effective.

One of the challenges of multidisciplinary work is getting the hang of journals in other fields and understanding what are normal timeframes. In one case a paper went quickly out to reviewers, the other has been months and I'm unsure if it's even with reviewers yet.

Has anyone already figured out how best to listen 👂🎧🎤 to research papers (ones I need to review) on long boring commutes?

Interesting commentary by Ravid et al. (2024) on bridging the science-practice gap in #IOPsych through industry-academic partnerships. Definitely worth a read, particularly if this gap irks you like it does me!
Check out our recent IOP commentary on narrowing the science-practice gap using industry-academic collaborations. Had a great time working with Ray Wu, Emily Campion, Georgi Yankov, Richard Landers, and Chase Winterberg on this one.

Great to see an updated article on physical activity and exercise definitions. One to add to the reference library.

What an incredibly useful and interesting article. Perfect timing too as I'm working on a qualitative project that would benefit from some deeper analysis.
