I chose a smaller town Indivisible RI & South County Resistance protest in Richmond RI. I met some great people which certainly helps. Of course there were some MAGA fools with their flags and young punks in their exhaust heavy trucks going up and down the road but the cops took care of them.

It seems almost unavoidable at this point that we are headed for a deep, deep recession. Just based on 200K+ federal firings & pullback of contracts, the March employment report (to be released April 4) seems certain to show bigger job losses than any month ever outside of a few in 2008-9 and 2020.

I couldn’t make it to the protests in Hartford today because I didn’t want to go alone. Although my community isn’t based in Connecticut, I live here and am working on getting more involved. I saw some photos from someone at Indivisible CT, and it looks like a good crowd showed up.
