Goodness! DEATH AND THE HARLOT is currently number 9 in the Kindle chart for historical mysteries!
Behind one of my all-time favourite historical novels. If you've not read it, now would be a LOVELY time to buy on Kindle - for less than a Greggs sausage roll.
Let's push my baby to #1. ❤️

I'm exhausted, but the first draft of Lizzie Hardwicke book 4 has just gone to my editor and agent. I hate this bit - waiting for the first people to read the worst version of the novel. But, it can only get better from here. ❤️💙💚💜

Very sad. I had the honour to spend an evening with Tim at a conference dinner in Budapest ten years ago. Among his many achievements and scoops let us highlight his report on San Seriffe, published on April 1, 1977 www.theguardian.com/gnmeducation...
April fool - San Serriffe: teaching resource of the month from the GNM Archive, April 2012
Each month we provide resource material that can be used in the classroom. This month we are looking at the Guardian’s most successful April Fool’s joke, San Serriffe

Farage insisting that he has an inside track to Trump while also not getting invited to the swearing in is bang on brand. As, sadly, is the fact that his dishonesty & humiliation will be ignored by much of the media.

Showing the true colours after, what, half an hour in power? Blimey.
The New Nazis are rich people.

It was always going to be rich people.

Rich people were always going to be The New Nazis.

They won because you moved to the right.

I've been critical of Starmer, but he's been excellent today. I hope he maintains his newly-discovered backbone, and realises he's the FUCKING PRIME MINISTER, and can afford to take on the right wing media. In fact, he can't afford not to.
