Inspired by @operationanti-king.bsky.social, I made this flyer on impeachment, which I'll be handing out at this weekend's protest.

Anyone who'd like to distribute it is free to download & print! It's designed to be printed two-sided and then cut down the middle.
Recently finished this audiobook and thinking about lots of its lessons during this evening's #onemillionrising training from @indivisible.org. Thinking about who I can pull together in my janky MAGA suburb.

Hundreds marched in El Cajon today, in support of migrants and to demand ICE be removed from the city. El Cajon was the site of a militarized workplace raid in March, and the city council voted to declare itself not a sanctuary city in February.

"Urging" when you have the power to FORCE is absurd. Note the absence of a quorum and make them listen.
I urge my Republican colleagues to listen to what they would be voting for: drastic cuts to Medicaid, increased costs for working Americans, and skyrocketing deficits.

I don’t even know how to refute this since it’s literally fiction.

But Rule IX is not very long, which is what Al Green specifically did to force the vote.

Which part here says “Jim Jordan needs to say it is cool”.

Look I too can just say total bullshit in overly large graphics but it doesn’t make it true.

I see our Democratic congresscritters are getting so many phone calls and emails about that impeachment-tabling vote that they feel the need to lie to their constituents.

And when the President does something wildly unconstitutional, the House does what? Starts with an "i."
Trump’s strikes against Iran are not only unconstitutional, but an escalation that risks bringing the U.S. into another endless and deadly war.

lmao San Diego isn't even on the NYT map, when we had some of the most viral crowd shots yesterday. It's a shame, because there's still good reporting happening in the Times, but their editors, headline writers, and infographic people are BEYOND trash.
You can always count on The New York Times to minimize the scale and impact of protest.

Yesterday's 2000+ No Kings actions smashed records for the most demonstrations in a single day.

So the Times decided to publish a horseshit map of just a handful of "confirmed locations."

We're not fooled.

Hard to communicate how big the San Diego No Kings protest is. By far the biggest I've seen since I moved here, even bigger than the peak of BLM. All of harbor drive and Pacific highway downtown shut down

I was volunteering as a marshal today, so I only got a couple photos from downtown San Diego's #NoKingsDay.

I feel like a crazy person because basically no one is talking about how flagrantly the LAPD is violating California law. CA AB 48 prohibits the use of tear gas and rubber bullets in all sorts of situations, but LAPD is scattering them around like party favors.

Imagine if every person going to a protest this weekend also took five minutes to email and call their Representative about impeachment.

What would Congress feel? They would be *overwhelmed.*

Shock and awe.
