We're reopening Kirkwood Avenue to vehicle traffic and parking on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, marking the conclusion of this year’s seasonal closure.

The City will again offer free parking on metered streets during Thanksgiving Weekend (Nov. 28-30) and the week before Christmas (Dec. 18-24).

We're providing $46,000 in emergency funding to Hoosier Hills Food Bank to help sustain food access during the ongoing federal government shutdown.

This support will help HHFB purchase and distribute approximately 330,000 pounds of food, or 275,000 meals.
