Bitcoin mines in the U.S. used more electricity in 2022 than all of Los Angeles combined.

But who breathed the air pollution from generating all that electricity?

Paris was smart to initially brand @annehidalgo.bsky.social’s strategic steps around urban biking & walking, greening, place-making and kid-friendly streets as solutions to URBAN POLLUTION, something people understood. It worked, dramatically improving air quality. But they did MUCH more than that.
