I know and care about as much about The Boss now as I did before going into Scott Cooper’s Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere. A handful of good performances but a dour, uninteresting drama that’s lacking in story. Feels like it’s been fed through a music biopic AI generator.

With dirt under his fingernails and sadness in his soul, Mike shifts from one desperate situation to the next in social-surrealist drama Urchin, an inventive portrait of contemporary British homelessness. Dillane is magnetic. Dickinson is a directorial voice to be reckoned with.

ENOUGH! Enough of this shit! My wife, the mother of my daughter, went through this process, and if anyone thinks the path to ILR is a gravy train, you have no basis in reality and no basis for expressing an opinion on legislation around it. This is just nonsense.

Far less deep and thought-provoking than Aronofsky’s earlier oeuvre, crime thriller Caught Stealing gets a LOT out of Austin Butler’s charm and big screen magnetism. Not sure the comedic style withstands the dark plot beats, but it’s a compelling ride through grimy New York City.

Flying by at just 85 minutes & firing out gags of all kinds at a rate of knots, Akiva Schaffer’s spoof requel The Naked Gun is very silly but totally self-aware with it, marking a worthy comeback for the beloved franchise! Liam Neeson & Pamela Anderson make a great duo.
