The result is not ultimately about the workforce: it’ll mean more people hungry, more without access to health care, and more losing their housing. As dangerous, or more than, the bill congress just passed.
Breaking News: The Supreme Court said the Trump administration can move forward with plans to slash the federal work force and dismantle federal agencies, including for employees at the Departments of Housing and Urban Development, State, Treasury and Veterans Affairs.

We are saddened by the news of the passing of Lois McClure, our longtime friend and steadfast supporter of CHT's work. We're thinking of her family this morning, and we're also thinking about how much she's done for Vermont.

Thank you, Lois.

Our friends at DEW Construction shared this photo of Bay Ridge under construction in Shelburne. Ultimately there will be 68 apartments and 26 condos, all permanently affordable.

As 2024 winds down we are hopeful, excited for the opportunity ahead, and have immense gratitude for our community.
