We went to see Thunderbolts yesterday and we really enjoyed it. Quite adult and should be subtitled as ‘Thunderbolts: a Meditation on Depression’. We were so glad we went. There’s a mid credit and end credit scene.

I’ve been very offline due to not being at my best and some rl things but this weekend is mine and sibling’s Easter weekend and we’ve had a lovely time at the dog field yesterday and at the beach today. We even ate chips on the sea front. I hope you’re all doing well as a minimum.

Why, WHY???? Are there flowers on 90% of plus size clothing and skulls on the remaining 10%?? Not forgetting the crossover of skulls AND flowers.

When you’ve had to go to the vets so the minute you get home you run to your human sister’s plushes for some comfort shopping. Despite having about 50 toys of your own. And then just sit and refuse to leave it. Bc comfort bunny.

My lovely home help has just told me how when she went to get her Mum from Ukraine when war broke out, her Mum wouldn’t go without her dog. It was a dog she had had with her husband who had died.
So my home help put her Mum on a flight from Poland.

Friends are asking what I’d like to do for my 5 0th. I’m thinking about it but when I do I just have such grief at how little time I have left. My Dad was 66 and my Mum was 74. 16 years ago was just before I met many of you. Just that time again? But it’s so nice people want to celebrate. Hard.

A tray of 3.6kg was £5.
So now I have a *lot* of blueberries.
Have made some protein flapjacks, and will make some muffins, and am giving some away, and maybe some jam.

The last couple of weeks M has started going on strike on his walks. I don’t think it’s his arthritis because the moment we turn towards home he can suddenly walk again like a champ. I think he’s either cold or fed up. Here he is on strike bc he knows this is the exit. To home. No shop, fankoo 😆🙄

I feel so guilty, sad and angry that I got so wiped out after Christmas that I sort of shut down on social media. Amber’s posts are full of worry. She’s scared. I missed other things for other people too. Chronic and mental illness takes so much and we hardly know what to do about either of them.
