Is anybody looking for managed #hosting of a #PDS? I don’t imagine technical folks have an appetite for it, but I wonder if a business could be made hosting PDSs for people, plus open sourcing the analytics harness around it

The question Bluesky answers is: can an open protocol be useful? Does it encourage use? Do users want to actually own their data?

It's not trying to be a thought or political alternative to X. That just happens to be how the first mass of users got here.
