🧋Was talking EV charging stations over boba with my investment partner today.

I don’t know about other states but CA, NV and AZ are still building out a bunch of charging stations. Demand for 1,500 locations from one client alone in 2025 but only enough crew to build 200.

It doesn’t feel like work when you’re working with friends. The guy on the left is building EV charging stations and solar farms. The guy on the right is financing them with me.

This is how I get free lunches. I connect people and let them talk while I eat.

FYI. CHIPS has attracted $380 billion in investment over 2 decades, with a majority invested by 2030.

145K new jobs – over 43K manufacturing jobs and over 102K construction jobs.

Many in red states that voted against CHIPS but took the money anyways.

Buddhist life hack. The opposite of being “triggered” is being detached without needing to be right.

Negativity is information. Is someone being an asshole? That’s useful information.

When you stop reacting emotionally to information, you can focus your energy on what matters.

“Los Angeles was the opposite. Most of the people I encountered moved there from somewhere else, driven by aspirations, chasing some kind of dream.

At the time I joked that it might be a dumb and completely unrealistic dream, but it was a dream nonetheless. “

Time is beautiful. Thank you.♥️

Post a picture of yourself from a different era.

19 year old me in China on my first visit to the Great Wall in 1995 a decade before my Twitter trolls were born.

Always interesting to see non-Chinese people defend the Chinese government more than my actual Chinese friends do.

I’m going to just meme my geopolitics this year so more people understand me.

♥️ Favorite part of #BeyonceBowl was seeing my friend Reyna Roberts performing next to Beyonce. Reyna is one of the featured music artists on the Blackbird song.

She’s also an unapologetic comic book geek. We had a lot of fun at our Batdance event during Comic-Con San Diego over the summer.

In today’s instalment of The Kindness of Taiwanese Strangers, an aboriginal guy on his scooter passed us as we were heading uphill. 20 minutes later, he returned with energy drinks and snacks because he was worried that we were heading somewhere with no places to resupply.
