Do your reading habits change with the season? I know I tend to dive into heavier, longer texts in the darker months, and I seek faster-paced, more uplifting reads in the summer. Saying that, if a book piques my interest, I don’t wait to read it.

One of the most common questions I get asked by memoir writers is how to portray their story authentically, when memory fades, in a way that they won’t get sued. As writers, we have many tools we can use to minimize hurt and yet still tell our story authentically.
