While he’s certainly had influence in my personal politics, I’ve always thought this guy was a prick. His lectures and events felt condescending when they could have been collaborative and compassionate.

For research I’ve been looking up the top 10 best sellers in the various horror genres listed on Amazon. I thought I was familiar with what feels like a niche community, but there are DOZENS of horror authors who I’ve never heard of and they're apparently selling lots of books?

Lately I'm experiencing a surge in people, both professionally and personally, who won't accept "no" for an answer. Is this a side effect of our culture shifting to the right? Regardless, it's fucking obnoxious.
