There’s maybe another Epstein parallel I think the official turning of blind eyes to this stuff, or doing the bare minimum when pushed may be due to the Russians, like Epstein, having compromised too many powerful figures for any of them to want to break omertà.

That Enoch Powell fandom is really telling. I'm surprised that's not the story actually because it's firmly on the record.
At some point Farage stopped talking about Powell - presumably because it became politically inconvenient to do so. No evidence of some Damascean conversion to reality.

In 'How They Broke Britain', I do a pretty good job of detailing the depth & breadth of Tufton Street/Tory/Murdoch/Mail attempts to scupper the BBC, even as I castigate some presenters for going too easy on precisely the people who seek the Corporation's abolition. But I should have done more. 1/2
