This completes the (un)holy stage trio of Woman In Black & Ghost Stories that I’ve taken (dragged?) my chums to over the last couple of years… and this last one was fantastic. Incredible play and excellent to watch with a live audience! 👻👻

21 years after getting lost on LA public transport and missing their show, I FINALLY saw hellogoodbye live. They were freakin’ rad. Bought Forrest a double brandy. Did a dance. Got a signed LP. ❤️ (Vinnie Caruana was also ace - what a voice! - and obvs. Armor For Sleep smashed it!). #brighton

At a Buffalo Tom gig at Town & Country in London in the '90s, J Mascis was hanging w/us in the dressing room in his typically laconic way. But then George Wendt popped his head in to say hello, J rose out of his chair and exclaimed, “NORM!” I've never seen him as animated before or since. RIP NORM!
