I’m not sure I am enjoying this “go up 2-0 and then sit back and give up the lead to go to OT” strategy any more than I enjoyed the “go down 0-2 and fight back go try to get it to OT” strategy.

If any media organization wants to hire me to cover an NHL team, I would be asking Ullmark and Pinto about the refs blowing two obvious calls at critical points in the game. So stupid that hockey “journalists” just ask team and league friendly questions.

Ullmark consistently looks like he has no idea where the puck is going after an initial save this year. Hits him and bounces away and he’s sitting there frozen with no idea where it went or if he has it.

Could feel that one coming. That’s one Ullmark needs to have — not the shot inandof itself, necessarily, but the moment. Because the Flyers were building momentum the entire period, and that could have killed it.
