I think it’s this and also the fact that he just does everything in the open. People are left in such shock at the audacity that he just gets away with it.
Trump's super-power is that he simply refuses to acknowledge political wounds that would instantly kill anyone with a modicum of shame. Which has worked well enough for him that many people have fooled themselves into believing he isn't wounded at all. But he is! He always has been!

Earnest post: there is increasingly direct evidence that Trump participated in child sex trafficking or at least knew about it.
He should resign, be impeached and removed from office, and prosecuted.

This is true. When they first announced the cast, I thought they had the casting reversed because Shannon plays crazy so well. I was very wrong; this was amazing casting.

instead of saying this was good strategy, maybe senate dems should say: "the republicans were going to kill people by starving them to death, and because we aren't monsters, we decided to let this fight go. We'll keep fighting. Stop electing monsters."

I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

I missed this the first time: Note that he says the East Wing is “completely separate from the White Hose itself.” This is the way he will say that he wasn’t lying in his earlier statements about not touching the White House.
Apparently this is his definition of “fully moderniz[ing]” the Easy Wing.
